From the water you drink to your shower water to the water you use to wash your dishes, the quality of your water matters. Filtered water is safe for household use, tastes better, and keeps your plumbing in good shape. Instead of relying on bottled water, which is expensive, consider installing a water filtration system. Mr. Rooter Plumbing is here to help you with water filtration installation in Valencia, PA.
Yes, a home water filtration system is absolutely worth the investment. Not only does it provide clean, great-tasting water straight from every tap in your home, but it also protects your plumbing and appliances from mineral buildup and corrosion. Over time, this can extend the life of your water heater, washing machine, dishwasher, and pipes. A filtration system also reduces your reliance on bottled water, helping you save money and reduce plastic waste. For families concerned about health, convenience, and long-term savings, installing a whole-house water filtration system is a practical choice.
A quality home water filtration system can remove a wide variety of contaminants, depending on the type of filter used. Common pollutants that are filtered out include chlorine and chloramines, which are added during municipal treatment but can cause unpleasant taste and odor. Lead and other heavy metals, commonly introduced through aging pipes and fixtures, are also removed, along with sediments like sand, rust, and dirt. Certain filtration systems can eliminate pesticides and herbicides from agricultural runoff, as well as bacteria and viruses, especially when using UV or reverse osmosis technology. Volatile organic compounds, which can originate from industrial waste or household cleaning byproducts, are also targeted by advanced systems. A water filtration installation helps protect your health, enhances taste, and improves the overall quality of your water.
When it comes to improving your water quality, there are several water filtration options available—each suited for specific needs depending on the type of contaminants present, your water source, and your budget. Here are some of the most common and effective water filtration systems:
The best water filtration system for your home depends on your water quality report, specific concerns and how much water you want to treat. For a personalized recommendation, consider having your water tested and consulting a plumbing professional.

My first point of contact after I set up my appointment was Nicki (Nikki), she was VERY kind and professional on the phone. She provided reassurance in my time of plumbing panic letting me know that everything was going to be fine and she’s here to help! Then Angelo arrived. Prior to his arrival I received texts and live gps to review how far he was I LOVED that! Angelo was SO respect of my house, he was VERY professional, quick and kind. He was upfront about costs and what he would complete for me! Pricing was fair and affordable. I had this SAME problem previously, went to a different company (started with a G and rhymes with peace) and they were “cheaper” but didn’t do the best job. They tried to tell me that to fix it, the price would be 5K - 10K (hard eye roll). Nevertheless, this is an awesome company!! If you found Mr. Rooter, just got with them!! I promise you, you won’t regret it!
Brandon replaced our water pressure regulator and was very thorough with his explanations to my questions and professional throughout the entire process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to replace it in a timely manner. Highly recommend Brandon for all plumbing services!
Can't say enough about Ron. Knows what he’s doing and does a very good job. He sticks with it until the job is done and you are completely satisfied. I will call on him whenever I need his services again. Mr rooter should be proud to have him as an employee. Keep up the good work Ron. Thanks
